It's tense on a boat in the Carribean sea. It's calm on the water and quite on the boat.

Describe the main conflict:Rainsford is trapped on an island with the General. He is obsessed with hunting and
hunts humans as game, so when Rainsford swims to the island the General wants to have Rainsford be the ultimate prey. Zaroff tells him that if he cant hunt him within three days he will be set free Rainsford agrees. at the end off the three days they are both still alive and then it turns into a deathmatch. Seemingly Rainsford comes out as the victor.


Describe the Climax of the Story: When Ivan was killed by Rainsfords self propelled knife.



How does the Protagonist change over the course of the story?
He finds himself being the prey which drasticly alters the way he feels about hunting. He also kills two people and gets an island with dirty people in the basement.



Describe the relationship between the title and the theme.
The title insists that there is too be a dangerous game to occur and based on the theme of the story which is the struggle of the hunter.






How does the main conflict help to illustrate the theme?
The main conflict is the hunter being the hunted

It adds a real sense of make it or break it to the story as its now every man for himself.

Rainsford said he wasnt done with the hunt and Zaroff agreed that one of them would lose the game and one would sleep in Zaroffs bed. In the last line rainsford proclares it was the best sleep he has had.

Because he was able too construct one and because he was smart enough to use it in the game.

He is a hunter and because he can survive in the wild as he does.

He realizes that he acted like the hunter until he was hunted, then he realised what it is like to be the prey.

He takes a story with a character and puts him in the opposite place in the story were he is the prey and he is being hunted.


In the story The Most Dangerous Game, many aspects of human nature are shown through the journey of the protagnist. One example is when he is being hunted instead of being the hunter or when he is talking to general Zaroff about hunting. Another example is when he swims over to the generals house and says its not over until one of them is killed.
